Our milestones
1975
Foundation and opening of the Berit Klinik as a health clinic in Niederteufen by Dr. Otto Bernhardsgrütter.
1977
Start of operations, focus on inpatient procedures and rehabilitation.
1988
Takeover by Paracelsus Clinics Germany.
1988–1990
Renovation and conversion (outpatient and inpatient in combination with rehabilitation).
2000 – 2001
Expansion and renovation (outpatient unit, operating room, sterilization, patient rooms, restaurant, physical therapy).
2008
Peder Koch becomes CEO of Berit Klinik and heralds the beginning of Berit's success story.
2014
Groundbreaking ceremony for the new building on the Vögelinsegg construction site in Speicher
2016
New building and opening of the Speicher location.
On March 1, 2016, the first operation took place at the new clinic in Speicher.
Partnership with Orthopädie am Rosenberg
2017
Renovation of the Niederteufen location.
2018
Reopening of the Berit Rehabilitation and Health Clinic in Niederteufen.
2019
The Berit Klinik was nominated by the international jury of the Clinic Award as one of the best in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.
2022
Takeover of Wattwil Hospital and opening of the Berit Klinik Wattwil with the launch of the emergency center and day clinic for specialist consultations

Foundation of the Berit Sportclinic in Speicher

Opening of Berit Klinik for Hand and Plastic Surgery in Goldach

Expansion of the Berit Sportclinic with additional locations in Heerbrugg and Arbon
