13th Night of Eastern Swiss Soccer

On October 25, 2023, the 13th Night of Eastern Swiss Football took place in St. Gallen – this charity event once again brought the region together and offered over 1,000 guests an unforgettable evening. As a sponsor, we are delighted to have been part of this special event since 2008. The atmospheric evening raised an impressive total of over CHF 100,000, all of which went to Future Champs Ostschweiz – an initiative dedicated to promoting young football talent in our region.
As part of the various awards, our CEO/Delegate of the Board of Directors, Peder Koch, presented the Eastern Switzerland Footballer of the Year award to Corsin Konietzke from Graubünden, who is one of the greatest talents in Eastern Switzerland.
The other winners were also honored: Livia Peng, goalkeeper for the Swiss national team at the European Championships, was named Eastern Swiss Footballer of the Year. The Award for Official of the Year went to Hansjörg Gutknecht, FC Niederwil was named the fairest club of the season, and Nadine Reichmuth received the Award for Referee of the Year. The Team of the Year, FC Kreuzlingen, was also honored for its outstanding achievements.
Another highlight of the evening was the presentation of the three finalist names for the stadium in St. Gallen, which were selected by the jury from numerous creative suggestions:
- Berit Sitter Stadium
- Berit Gallus Stadium
- Berit Säntis Stadium
Fans with a subscription now have the opportunity to vote on the final name of the stadium on November 23, 2025, during the FC St. Gallen vs. Lausanne match. We are very excited to take over the naming rights for the stadium next year and look forward to the results of the vote.
Musical highlights from Benjamin Amaru and rapper Stress added to the great atmosphere and unforgettable moments of the evening.
We are delighted to support this event and Future Champs Eastern Switzerland, and look forward to working together in the coming years to promote young talent in Eastern Swiss soccer.
