A significant moment for sports angiology

The Berit Sportclinic is part of the Berit Clinic Group and is known for its outstanding medical services in the field of sports medicine. Dr. med. Dr. Sc. med. Roman Gähwiler, an accomplished and respected sports angiologist, works in this environment. His expertise and significant role in sports angiology make him an important member of our team.

Dr. Gähwiler had the honor of speaking at the Tri-Country Conference of the D-A-CH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), which took place from October 22 to 25, 2025, at the KKL Luzern. The event attracted around 1,000 visitors and provided a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience in sports medicine.

In his presentation, Dr. Gähwiler addressed the vein problems that many athletes face. His contribution to this topic is not only of great importance for sports angiology, but also for the prevention and treatment of conditions that can impair athletes' performance.
