Our deputy chief physician at Berit SportClinic, Dr. Quinten Felsch, attended the renowned Orthobiology Global Exchange Expert Meeting in Naples last week. Orthobiology is a specialty of orthopedic surgery and sports medicine that uses natural substances from human cells and tissues to promote healing. At the congress in Florida, knowledge about orthobiology (PRP/SVF/BMC) was shared and deepened, and the next steps toward consensus statements were defined. Over the four days, participants agreed on a roadmap for scientific collaboration and the creation of a European orthobiology registry and a European Society for Orthobiology. As experts and thought leaders in the field of orthobiology and regenerative medicine, the participants are working together to improve orthobiological treatment methods and achieve comprehensive recognition of these treatments by regulatory authorities.
