We were delighted to welcome over 26 knowledge-hungry guests to our Speicher location! We also had a number of children at the Berit Clinic in Wattwil, who enjoyed a fantastic and eventful day. In Speicher, the children were given a fascinating insight into the various locations and activities of the clinics by Peder Koch, CEO of Berit Clinics, in the morning. Afterwards, two nursing trainees talked about their profession and invited the children to get involved themselves: together they practiced measuring blood pressure and blood sugar, listened to their pulses, and discussed the food pyramid. At the Berit SportClinic, the sporting activities continued with various jumps and games of skill, before the guests had the opportunity to take a look at the housekeeping department. In Wattwil, they showed what happens in an emergency: applying plaster casts and stitching wounds on a banana provided plenty of variety. It was also possible to take a look at the PPE and the work of the technical service. After lunch, the children were assigned to their chosen departments, where they were able to learn lots of interesting information.
