New Personal Best at the Berlin Marathon

What a cool race! Right from the start, Sandro Gehrig had really strong legs and was able to maintain his target pace easily and consistently. That let me really enjoy the first half.
Since his training didn’t go entirely according to plan—and he therefore had to skip a few long runs—he was especially curious to see how the second half would go.
From the 25 km mark on, it got progressively tougher, and from the 35 km mark on, it was really tough. But pushing through paid off twice over thanks to a clear new personal best.
A big thank you to Matthias Graf from the Berit Sportclinic for the great coaching!
