Follow-up treatment and dispensing of medicines after release
Your operating physician and nursing staff will provide you with individualised, extensive information about follow-up treatments, check-ups and any other particularities. We will tell you exactly when and how long for you need to take your medication.
Patient feedback
We care about your feedback after staying at Berit Clinic. It allows us to improve continuously. Our staff will give you a feedback questionnaire. You can complete this during your stay or at home. Two to four weeks after your release, you will be sent a questionnaire from an independent quality measurement institute. This survey covers all hospitals in Switzerland. This will ask you to comment on your stay anonymously. We thank you in advance for your active cooperation to ensure ever better quality.
Release from clinic
Everything you need to know about your release will be discussed with you in good time. We ask you to stick to the release times between 9:00 am and 10:00 am. Please settle any outstanding personal expenditure for phone use, drinks, etc. at our Reception when you leave, either in cash or by card.
Journey home
Please plan your journey home on the day of your release early on and prepare this well. Depending on your operation, you may not be able to drive yourself and should be picked up and/or accompanied. If you need a taxi after your stay, we are here to help you. Please contact a staff member of Patient Administration. They will be happy to help.
Rehabilitation/recovery at Berit Niederteufen
We aim to help you convalesce, restore your quality of life and allow you to return to your normal day-to-day environment. We take a holistic approach to your health and offer specific, tailored rehabilitation and recovery. Your operating physician will give you extensive, personal advice about the option of a rehabilitation or recovery period following on from your operation.
