At Berit Klinik AG, providing highly qualified treatment and care for our patients is at the heart of everything we do every day. To ensure this quality on a permanent basis, continuous and consistent quality management is essential. Quality is one of the core values of our mission statement and shapes everything we do.

Berit Klinik AG is committed to complying with all legal, normative, and regulatory requirements—in particular, the quality-related requirements in the Swiss healthcare system (ANQ, H+, etc.). In addition, we comply with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 to ensure the effectiveness of our management system and to continuously improve it.

We ensure the continuous improvement of our services through a structured quality management system that continuously develops all processes in accordance with Deming's plan-do-check-act (PDCA) cycle.

The Quality Management Committee (QLA) sets, reviews, and evaluates quality targets on an annual basis. Risk management complements and supports quality management by systematically identifying and assessing potential risks and ensuring that measures are in place to minimize them.

Patient safety

Quality creates safety, ensures comfort, and promotes trust. The satisfaction and well-being of our patients are our highest priority. We ensure this through, among other things, an active reporting and learning system called the critical incident reporting system (CIRS). Thanks to a standardized analysis of reported incidents, appropriate preventive and improvement measures are derived and implemented.

Patient satisfaction

The satisfaction of our patients is a key indicator of the effectiveness of our quality work. Feedback is systematically collected, evaluated, and used both internally and as part of national quality measurements in order to initiate targeted improvement measures. Our actions are characterized by appreciation and respect for our patients, visitors, and employees.

Professional competence

We see ourselves as a modern healthcare company that relies on the high level of competence and professionalism of its employees. In addition to outstanding technical expertise, we promote the continuous training of our teams to ensure the best possible treatment and care at all times.
The professional competence of our employees is developed in a targeted manner; we carefully select our (affiliated) physicians as part of an accreditation and recruitment process. This enables us to guarantee the high quality of our medical and nursing services in the long term.

Quality activities

Quality management involves the planning, control, assurance, and continuous development of our processes and actively involves our employees.
