Quality Policy
The quality policy is based on the vision, mission, and values of Berit Klinik AG and is designed to support the clinic’s strategic goals in a sustainable manner.
At Berit Klinik AG, providing highly qualified treatment and care for our patients is at the heart of everything we do. To ensure this quality over the long term, continuous and consistent quality management is essential. Quality is one of the core values of our mission statement and shapes everything we do.
Berit Klinik AG is committed to complying with all legal, normative, and regulatory requirements—in particular, the quality-related standards in the Swiss healthcare system (ANQ, H+, etc.). In addition, we adhere to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 to ensure the effectiveness of our management system and to continuously improve it.
We ensure the continuous improvement of our services through a structured quality management system that continuously refines all processes in accordance with Deming’s Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle.
The Quality Steering Committee (QLA) sets, reviews, and evaluates quality objectives annually. Risk management complements and supports quality management by systematically identifying and assessing potential risks and ensuring that measures are in place to minimize them.
Patient Safety
Quality ensures safety, guarantees comfort, and fosters trust. The satisfaction and well-being of our patients are our top priority. We ensure this, among other things, through an active reporting and learning system known as the Critical Incident Reporting System (CIRS). Thanks to a standardized analysis of reported incidents, appropriate preventive and improvement measures are identified and implemented.
Patient Satisfaction
Our patients’ satisfaction is a key indicator of the effectiveness of our quality assurance efforts. Feedback is systematically collected, evaluated, and utilized—both internally and as part of national quality assessments—to implement targeted improvement measures. Our actions are guided by appreciation and respect for our patients, visitors, and employees.
Professional Competence
We see ourselves as a modern healthcare company that relies on the high level of competence and professionalism of our employees. In addition to strong technical expertise, we promote the ongoing professional development of our teams to ensure the best possible treatment and care at all times.
We provide targeted professional development for our employees; we carefully select our (affiliated) physicians as part of an accreditation and recruitment process. This enables us to ensure the consistently high quality of our medical and nursing services.
Quality Initiatives
Quality management involves the planning, monitoring, assurance, and continuous improvement of our processes and actively involves our employees.
Our quality initiatives include, among other things, various mandated quality assessments in the areas of acute somatic care, rehabilitation, and psychiatry (short-term alcohol therapy), which are conducted in accordance with the guidelines of the National Association for Quality Development in Hospitals and Clinics (ANQ):
